4. Perform a cold-state simulation of the burner according to the pipeline conditions, and observe whether each component of the equipment is operating normally and whether the flame detection protection system is functioning properly.
3. Commissioning of the gas burner combustion machine
1. Check whether the external gas supply is in place, whether the pipelines are unobstructed, and whether the external power control is in place.
2. Adjust the burner load to a low load, set the ignition position accordingly to the low load, turn off the high load to ignite, and observe the flame. Adjust the servo motor or the damper opening based on the flame condition to achieve an appropriate combustion state.
3. Gradually increase the load, and adjust the servo motor or damper opening point by point according to the flame situation to achieve an appropriate combustion state.
4. Precautions for Gas Engine Commissioning and Maintenance
1. When the gas burner continuously experiences secondary ignition procedure failures, it should be shut down for inspection. Check whether the burner’s gas supply system is functioning properly and whether the electrical connections are correct. The burner can only be restarted after the issues have been resolved.2. It is strictly forbidden to strike or rub gas supply pipelines with wrenches or metal rods to avoid generating static electricity or sparks, which could trigger a gas explosion.
3. It is strictly forbidden to smoke, weld, cut, or engage in other unauthorized operations at the gas supply valve assembly or pipeline flange surfaces.
4. It is strictly forbidden to conduct any open flame tests near pipelines, valve assemblies, and pressure regulators to prevent major accidents.
5. To check whether there is fuel in the gas supply line, it is usually sufficient to test with a low-pressure gas gauge.
6. In gas supply pipelines, even after purging, if there are residual gases or liquid droplets on the pipe walls, they can still cause combustion and explosions when exposed to static sparks or open flames.
7. When the gas supply pipeline is pressurized and the valve assembly has a fault requiring disassembly, the main valve at the front end of the valve assembly must be shut off first. Then, the gas in the pipeline between the main valve and the valve assembly should be vented before the valve assembly can be disassembled and repaired.
8. During debugging work, gas must be handled carefully, safely, and efficiently.
9. The use of non-explosion-proof electrical and power tools on site is prohibited.
10. For burners of 600,000 kcal and above, it is recommended to use a leak detection device. If the user does not install one, the user will be responsible for any accidents caused.
